Union Corner Construction has been serving communities since 1981. A General Contractor and building professional providing our services exclusively in the commercial arena. Our name has become synonymous with integrity, substance and client satisfaction.
The company name, Union Corner Construction, refers to the original geographical location of the business, which is an unincorporated community within central Clark County, Washington. Union Corner has remained small by design, allowing us to deliver services tailored to the specific needs of our clients in a very personal manner. Small enough so every project has a personalized feel, yet with capacity to complete large projects, our philosophy and approach is one based on quality rather than quantity.

Union Corner Construction (UCC) is a Washington Corporation licensed to do work in Washington and Oregon, and is owned by Rick Porter who serves as President.
We understand the need for detailed estimating, careful planning, scheduling and coordination with the design team. We appreciate acute management of construction activity and the importance of maintaining a spirit of cooperation between all members of the project team.

RICK PORTER
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Rick worked his way to ownership from the ground floor. He has gained a unique perspective in terms of problem solving, and specializes in maximizing value while meeting the needs and goals of the client. While leading the company, Rick sincerely believes that the single most effective way to differentiate Union Corner Construction from others is to exceed the clients’ expectations on every project. He takes pride in the fact that he is always accessible to clients
JEFF SIMONSON
PROJECT MANAGER / ESTIMATOR
In his 24 years of experience in the building and development industry and experience in numerous roles and project types, his passion shows with all clients, from project inception through final completion. His fair minded mentality and ability to communicate with all project team members make him a valuable addition to any project.
RIC SAMADUROFF
PM / SUPERINTENDENT
Ric has been with Union Corner since 1999 and is a multi-skilled member of the Union Corner Team with over 30 years of experience in Project Supervision, Project Management, and Estimating. Preferring the challenges encountered in the field, Ric provides UCC with the on-site leadership required in keeping a project schedule on track and under budget. Ric possesses excellent communication skills, and always builds a keen sense of camaraderie among all field personnel.
RYAN SIMONSONPM / SUPERINTENDENT
Ryan is a multi-skilled member of the Union Corner Team with over 22 years of experience in Project Supervision and Project Management. Ryan provides UCC with the on-site leadership required in keeping a project schedule on track and under budget. Ryan possesses excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude that helps drive the project and eliminates errors and delays.
