Gaylen is a multi-skilled member of the Union Corner Construction team with over twenty years of experience as a carpenter, foreman and superintendent. Gaylen has been with Union Corner since 2002.  Preferring the challenges encountered in the field, Gaylen provides us with the on-site leadership required in keeping a project schedule on track and under budget.  He possesses excellent communication skills and always builds a keen sense of camaraderie among the field personnel.
Gaylen has provided leadership on a variety of project types and sizes in the private and public sectors including work at several school replacement projects for Vancouver & Battle Ground School Districts, and Washington State School for the Blind.
Gaylen’s easy-going personality and willingness make him easy to work with.  He is an excellent team builder among the subcontractor community and consistently brings about their best performance.

Value Engineering/Constructability Analysis
Review labor costs and schedule challenges of proposed building systems
Assist the Estimator and Project Manager with analysis of Subcontractor input

Supervision of On-Site Workforce
Subcontractor/Vendor Coordination
Develop and Implement a Site Specific Safety Plan
Develop and implement a Quality Assurance Program
Construction Sequencing-Schedule Reporting
